Petrol Diesel Price in Nepal 2025
Kathmandu, April 15, 2025 — The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in fuel prices, effective from 1:00 AM on Wednesday. According to a statement released on Tuesday, the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene have each been decreased by NPR 3 per liter.
This adjustment follows the latest price list received from the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), which supplies all refined petroleum products to Nepal. The NOC has implemented the new rates across the country, categorizing regions into three pricing zones based on transportation and logistical considerations.
The NOC determines consumer prices by adding customs duties, administrative expenses, transportation costs, and dealer commissions to the rates provided by the IOC. The IOC’s pricing is based on international crude oil costs, including processing and associated charges.
This price reduction is expected to provide some relief to consumers amid fluctuating global oil prices.
